Cold Water Helps
I take large towels and run them under ice cold water. I ring them out and fold them up so that they will lay across the backs of my legs. Laying on my stomach, I place them on the back parts of my legs for relief. -Thomas, 41

Someone told me to lie straight on my back and lift my legs for a while so they’re perpendicular to the rest of my body. It helps. I was also prescribed B complex by my doctor.

When I injured my knee and had to go to physical therapy at the end of the session they would apply cold towels and compresses to help with the swelling. I have no idea why I thought heat would help, but now I know better. I suppose the same approach could help with cramps.
