If you don’t have a potassium supplement nearby, try eating a banana. This is a natural source of calcium and should be helpful. - Denise

I take large towels and run them under ice cold water. I ring them out and fold them up so that they will lay across the backs of my legs. Laying on my stomach, I place them on the back parts of my legs for relief. Also, drinking some tonic water with quinine is a quick remedy.

I always find that heat relieves my leg cramps and either take a long hot bath or use a heating pad.

Some recommend acupuncture. Pinch your upper lip and squeeze for about 30 seconds.

when I get a leg cramp I sit on the kitchen floor the floor is usually very cold and it helps my legs relax.
