my mom swears by the soap in the bed trick. When I started getting leg cramps, she even suggested a bar of soap in my socks! Guess what....
It worked. Mind over matter. Maybe. But as long as the cramps disappeared, I was happy

I read that somewhere else a long time ago. I never tried it because I thought it sounded so random and things in the bed with me bother me. It very well could be a mental thing, but if it worked for you I say continue to do it.

I didnt find any research studies online about this being a proven method but if works for you keep doing it.Some people say it might be a mind over matter thing if you believe it works or it also says that the soap may release something in the air.
