I like to look up information on the web too, but a doctor seems to be the most reliable source. Family and friends can be a good resource also. They may have gone through the same problems.

When I have let cramps I would rather look up information on the computer. Doctors cost money and want me to "take something". I get personal stories from friends that I do not need to listen to when I am in pain. My family say "You have to live with it". I would rather go to the internet and seek out anonymous advice that I can evaluate and check with others. Your site is great for this.

I can understand why quite a few RLS sufferers tell nobody about their problem because it kind of sounds weird to people who have no idea what it's like to have RLS. If you tell a person my leg twitches at night, they might just laugh and say so what and not take your complaint seriously. At least a doctor will know that it is something that exists and can really disturb a person's sleep. I hope more people seek advice!
