		<description>I don't think weight has much to do with it. When I was younger I was an average weight and I got leg cramps all the time. Now, I've gained a lot of weight and have them less frequently, quite the opposite of your situation. I think more than anything you should focus on treating your legs well with daily exercise and stretching.</description>

		<description>I am overweight and occassionally get woken up in the middle of the night with leg craps.  My husband, who is not overweight, in fact, may be considered underweight by some standards gets woken up several times a week.  So I do not believe that weight is a factor for leg craps.</description>
